Using the Featured Media feature is a great way to make sure important content gets seen by the right people in your school or district.
When content is featured, a notification badge appears on the Featured Media item in the user menu when you click on your name.
- Clicking the Featured Media reveals a sidebar with thumbnail previews of featured items.
- Each thumbnail is a direct link to that media item in the account of the person who featured it.
Adding Featured Media
- Open the media by clicking its thumbnail in your gallery.
- Open the More Menu and click Add to Featured Media button.
- In the popup window, choose your audience:
- All Users
- Teachers and Above
- School Admins and Above
- District Admins and Above
- If youâre a District Admin, youâll also see a list of your schools that you can choose from.
- Click Feature Media Item to finalize.
The item will now appear in the Featured Media sidebar for the selected audience.
Removing Featured Media
When itâs time to take something down:
- Click Administrator Tools in the user menu.
- Select Featured Media under the Content Administration section.
- Youâll see a list of all currently featured items.
- Click the minus icon next to the item you want to remove.
This page also shows who featured each item and when – useful for tracking visibility or cleaning up outdated content.
