March 2020 | MyVRSpot Newsletters
MyVRSpot's March 2020 Newsletter

Spring is in the air and we’re thrilled about March! Take a virtual spring break road trip, be inspired by our district spotlight, and sow the seeds of differentiated instruction for your next lesson module.

Virtual Spring Break Road Trip

Invite your students on virtual trips through your local neighborhood, across the U.S., or in a different country. Upload audio, pictures, and video to discover the sounds, people, and places that have helped to shape the culture of the area. Organize your digital media and add text using the MediaSpot project tool.

District Spotlight: Central Bucks School District, PA

We interviewed Matthew Murray, the district’s video specialist, about their district-wide live streaming projections. Read about how they use live streaming for morning announcements, special events, and even how their students are live broadcasting in their media classes.

Differentiated Instruction with QR Codes

If you know anything about classrooms, you know how important differentiated instruction is to keep the advanced students engaged and progressing, while also giving your attention to the students who are struggling. Help yourself out and try this differentiated instruction technique:

  1. Group your students into different learning levels,
  2. Create or upload instructional videos for each learning level, into your account. These can be videos you have created, or even videos from YouTube or Vimeo,
  3. Create QR codes for each video and add each QR code to a sheet of paper or a MediaSpot project, and
  4. Share those QR codes with your students.

Image Editing Tutorial

Last month, we were excited to release our new image editing tool! We’re excited that all users are now able to easily edit and enhance your images through your MyVRSpot account. We’re pleased to also release our how-to video and article on how to use the

tool, which you can access from our Online User Guide, along with more than 100 other articles.
