Automatic closed captioning for Admins and Teachers - We all know how important closed captioning is for accommodating those with hearing disabilities, but adding text to videos is also an effective multi-modal instructional tool for all learners. MyVRSpot has started rolling out our new Caption ALL service, which will automatically create a closed caption file for every video and audio file, up to two hours in length, that you create or upload (without restrictions) to your MyVRSpot account. This service will be added to any customer that has purchased Teacher accounts, at no additional cost to the school or district. You’ll also have the ability to edit your captions with the built-in caption editor and caption replacement tools.
Video Image Scanner Tool - What do you think about a tool that will automatically scan every image or video a student uploads or creates in their account, to help identify inappropriate content? With our ongoing development of this new scanning technology, projected for release in Fall 2023, the system will flag media that is likely to contain adult, racy, or violent content, making sure this content is not accessible by other students.
Zoom Integration - Many of you have asked for it, and now we have it! Our new Zoom integration will allow you to easily access and upload your Zoom meeting recordings directly to your MyVRSpot account. From the Upload menu, you’ll see a new “Upload from Zoom” button. Once clicked, you will connect to your Zoom account, search for and select the video you want to add to your MyVRSpot account, and click the Select Recording button. This integration is available for Zoom Business, Zoom Enterprise, and Zoom Education customers, and for recordings that are saved to Zoom Cloud.
