Live Broadcasting

Tips and Tricks

Be sure to test your stream in the location of your event, like graduation, a few days in advance.

If possible, use a wired internet connection for your broadcast. If you are using Wi-Fi, make sure there are no “dead spots” at the location of the event.

Bitrate is one of the most important factors for a successful broadcast. We recommend starting at 1,500 kbps and then going from there.

Double check to make sure your wires, microphones, and streaming device (laptop, tablet, etc.) are working properly. If you are using a laptop to stream, we recommend using an i7 processor or better.

Double check to make sure you have the correct RTMP address in your stream encoder.
