Some big things happened over Winter Break! MyVRSpot released new updates and added new tools to make your life easier. We’ve also scheduled new training webinars to start the new year off right.
New Releases and Updated Features! We’ve been working hard the past couple of months so we could release these new tools over Winter Break. We had so many updates this year that we can’t fit every detail into one newsletter! Instead, we wrote an entire article about the new features, which you can access here.
Here’s a quick overview of the new features:
How to Use the Notify Users Button for Professional Development Groups or Student Assignments The new Notify Users button sends a message (and possibly an email notification) to individuals or Groups that a media file is available for them to view. This tool can help your Professional Development Group, by letting all of the Group members know when new content has been uploaded. But let's not stop there! This same feature can be utilized by students, to notify their teacher when a video or completed project has been uploaded and ready for teacher review.
Allow/Do Not Allow Settings for Video Quizzes Over the break, we also released options allowing you to customize your video quizzes using the SmartSpot tool. With this update, you have the ability to control whether or not your quiz-takers can: view the correct answers after finishing a quiz; take a quiz multiple times; or resume an incomplete quiz.
